Privacy Policy

A plain-English privacy policy for a simple one-product store. We collect what is needed to process US orders, ship packages, provide support, understand site behavior, and protect the site.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number if provided, US shipping address, quantity, selected product, order notes if provided, and order status details.

When you contact us, we collect the name, email address, message, topic, and order number you submit.

Payment details are handled by Square. We store Square identifiers, payment status, receipt links, refund status, tax totals, and final charged totals, but we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use order information to create a pending order, confirm payment, generate shipping labels, send transactional emails, provide support, and maintain accurate records.

Shipping details may be shared with Shippo and carriers so labels and tracking can be created. Email addresses may be shared with Resend so transactional emails can be delivered.

Order and admin records are stored in Supabase so the store can manage inventory, fulfillment, refunds, and support.

Analytics and site reliability

We use PostHog analytics to understand page views, product views, gallery use, checkout progress, button clicks, contact form submissions, errors, browser/device details, referring pages, and general performance. Depending on configuration, PostHog may collect IP-derived location, browser information, device information, session metadata, and event timestamps.

PostHog data is used to improve the store, find broken flows, measure conversion, and diagnose technical problems. We do not intentionally send customer names, full addresses, phone numbers, raw order payloads, labels, or payment details to PostHog.

We may use cookies or similar browser storage for analytics, session handling, and admin authentication.

Admin access

Admin access is limited to approved store operators. Google sign-in may be used to authenticate the owner account for order management.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell customer data. We share information only with service providers needed to run the store, such as Square, Shippo, Resend, Supabase, PostHog, carriers, and hosting providers.

We keep order records as long as needed for fulfillment, accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal reasons.
